Panic & Anxiety Attacks

Signs and Symptoms

  • Being unable to sleep
  • Feeling tired
  • Irritable
  • lack of concentration
  • Feeling tense
  • Difficulty breathing or breathing heavily
  • Palpitations

If like me you have experienced any of the above symptoms, you will know how scary, and even debilitating panic attacks and anxiety can be. You are not alone!

At least 1 in 10 people will experience panic or anxiety, in one form or another at some point during their lives.

Actually Fear and Anxiety can be helpful, letting us avoid danger and give us motivation to deal with problems we may encounter. The problem is sometimes these anxious feelings become extremely strong and last a long time, eventually you may feel consumed by them.

Living with anxiety and suffering from panic attacks can be a very terrifying time in life. It can make you feel weak, miserable, uncertain of anything, feelings of becoming mad and becoming completely unsociable. However there is a light at the end of the tunnel, all of these nasty symptoms can be controlled, and put at bay by tried and tested methods that really do work!

So if you or anyone you know is suffering from anxiety or panic attacks, and have had enough and want to be free again, follow the link below to see how you too, can rid yourself of this torment, as many othersĀ  have done. It might just change your life!

Peace.

I like the product "Panic Away" very much by looking at your ads. But as I suspected it's pricy--$150 (or 1/2) I know people may say it's not much to pay.......but for me on a tiny income it is. And I don't know for sure-how could I-that it works.

Japemwellows,

Great hub. I have also suffered from panic attacks. I also am in the mental health field and learned how to control my panic. Eating healthy is more important than you know. Excorsize helps too. Once a panic attack starts remember: There is a beginning and an end. Take off your shoes and socks, grind them into carpet to get back into your body. We dissassociate when we panic. Listen to soft music, your faves that calm you. Take meds until you can control them. If I need to I have on hand my xanax. I do everything first before I take it, but if I have to, it is better than paying big money for ER. I have written of panic too on my hub.Great hub.

Healing Touch, some very sound advice here. I completely agree that eating healthy and excercise are of huge importance here, getting back tou your body as you put it, is awesome advice too. Something I did many times whilst going through my period of anxiousness. Luckily I never got so bad as to require medication and am now completely over it, mostly through eating, excersise and finding my body, plus other ways to take my mind off it, playin guitar works for me! Thanks for taking time to give a very informative comment, I shall be updatiting this hub with a lot more information one of these days when I have more spare time.

Great information on anxiety. I have struggled on and off with anxiety and panic attacks throughout my life. I am in the mental health field and have learned a lot about this through education but more so, by going through it. I agree with many of the tips here like moving your body or exercise, trying to eat healthy, doing things for yourself like getting a massage or taking a bubble bath, breathing exercises, meditation, and if you have to get on meds for a while that can help when your in a bad bout of it. I too wrote on this subject and have learned so many of us struggle with anxiety. Rated Up, Awesome and Useful. PEACE to all that struggle with this and may they find comfort in your hub.
